PeelAI Google Merchant Fixer helps Shopify merchants find GTIN, brand, and Google Shopping product data issues before products are rejected or visibility is limited. The app requests only the Shopify permissions needed for this workflow: read_products and write_products.

Data we process

We process store domain, app installation credentials, product titles, product descriptions, product vendor, product type, variant option names, variant barcodes, SEO fields, product image metadata needed for alt text suggestions, generated repair output, usage counts, plan status, and technical logs needed to operate the service.

Data we do not request

We do not request customer, order, payment, fulfillment, or shipping data. Customer privacy webhooks are supported so Shopify can send required compliance requests, but this app does not store customer personal data.

AI processing

When a merchant generates repairs, relevant product information is sent to our configured AI provider to create safe content suggestions. The app does not generate GTINs, MPNs, certifications, brand authorization, origin, materials, compliance claims, or unsupported product facts. Merchants should review generated content before applying it to Shopify.

Storage and subprocessors

Application data is hosted on Google Cloud. Shopify provides store and product APIs. The configured AI provider processes product text for generation. We keep data only as long as needed to operate the app, enforce usage limits, provide support, and satisfy legal obligations.

Deletion

When Shopify sends a shop/redact webhook, we delete stored data for that shop from our app database. Merchants can also request deletion by contacting support.
